Full orchestra
Program notes:
I composed Hereafter Scattering as a nest around a musical idea presented three times throughout the piece—a delicate pizzicato fragment. By surrounding those plucked string passages with woven and scattering material, the idea becomes a familiar refrain from the magnitude of a full orchestra.
